When is NeueHouse Madison Square re-opening?

Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 8am.

Who is the new operator?

Convene Hospitality Group (CHG) owns and operates a global portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on creating the places and experiences that bring people together. As the largest single provider of dedicated meeting and event venues in the US and UK, and with a growing footprint of premium workspace, CHG has a network of 39 locations across nine cities.

Will it re-open as NeueHouse or another brand? 

It will re-open as NeueHouse. 

Will anything change when NeueHouse Madison Square re-opens? 

Our goal is to return NeueHouse to the same offering prior to the bankruptcy, though there may be a delay in re-instating certain services while we await necessary permits. For any additional questions, a member from our team will be happy to discuss in more detail.

What is the status of my NeueHouse Madison Square membership?

At the time of the bankruptcy filing, all memberships were terminated. If you wish to resume your membership, we will re-activate your pre-existing membership, or amend your membership to the extent you wish to modify your membership type.

Will all floors be re-opening? 

We intend to re-open a majority of the floors, but may consolidate certain floors depending on overall member demand. We will do our best to put you back where you were prior to the closure.

I was charged for September. What will happen to my September dues? 

If you choose to resume your membership, we will credit your September dues to October.

I prepaid for more than just September. What will happen to my dues?

We will apply your prepayment(s) as a credit to your future membership dues once you resume your membership.

What about my membership Security Deposit? 

Any security deposits paid prior to the bankruptcy filing are subject to the Chapter 7 bankruptcy process. For more information, please contact the trustee’s office at kenneth.silverman@rimonlaw.com.

I do not wish to reactivate my Membership, but I need access to the space to collect my belongings.

I had an event planned at NeueHouse Madison Square. Can I still host it there? 

We expect to be ready to host events by mid October though this could shift depending on our ability to acquire the necessary operational permits. For more information about events email us at neuehouseinquiries@convenehospitality.com.
